The Holiday House STL is dedicated to bringing joy, warmth, and community to children and families in St. Louis. 

Our mission is to create a magical environment where families can escape the challenges of everyday life and experience the moments of happiness and togetherness.  Our goal is to ensure every child and family in our community can experience the joy and magic of a welcoming and festive space.

When I was growing up there was a "Santa House" on the corner of Lockwood and Berry Road.  I remember it as a magical place -- the sights, the smells (there were always freshly baked cookies), and the joy.  It is forever etched in my memory as a symbol of happiness.  Today, we have the opportunity to bring the same joy to north city.  A lifelong friend of mine, Fr. Mitch Doyan, has a space in one of his parishes that he hopes to use to benefit the community.  We both felt the Holiday House would be a perfect fit.

 

Our goal was to transform the hall at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in The Holiday House.  Bringing this vision required volunteer bakers, gingerbread house makers, gift wrappers, decorators and transportation for all of the gifts and decorations.  We also needed donations of gifts for children.  Your generosity made a direct impact, brightened the lives of children and eased the burdens of families right here in our community.

My heart is overflowing with joy.  Out St. Louis community came together by joining us in spreading the joy and building a stronger, more supportive community.  Whether volunteering your time, donating, or partnering with us, your involvement helps make the Holiday House a place of comfort, joy and a connection for everyone we serve.
